“Rak of Aegis, an original Pinoy musical, tells the story of the people in Barangay Venezia, which is submerged in flood waters. For Aileen, there is one way to escape her community’s misery: become a YouTube sensation, be discovered internationally, and turn that fame into money. And she does it. Soon, a concert at Venezia is at the pipeline. But just as everyone is getting ready for the concert-in-the-flood, the waters suddenly subside. Absurdly, the people want the flood back.” -Rak of Aegis returns with new cast members; BusinessWorld June 6, 2018) The cast during the show included Shaira Opsimar as Aileen, Jerald Napoles as Tolits, Poppert Bernadas as Kenny, Robert Seña as Mang Kiel, Neomi Gonzales as Aling Mercy, Shiela Valderama-Martinez as Kapitana Mary Jane, Phi Palmos as Jewel, Nor Domingo as Mang Fernan, and the ensemble: Teetin Villanueva, Carlon Matobato, John Emmanoel Moran and Crystal Paras.
