PSPC’s Red Christmas Party

The Philippine Society of Pediatric Cardiology had an early celebration of the 2018 yuletide season with a “RED CHRISTMAS PARTY” last November 29, 2018 at Café Taverna, Quezon City.
The lively and energetic hosts for the evening were Docs Gerry Acosta and Jonie Bote. For entertainment, there was a musical duo who played the saxophone and keyboard. The guests who were all dressed in RED had much fun during the games, especially the “Guess the tune”. Likewise, our favorite choreographer Nikko was present to lead the group dancing.
The party was well-attended by PSPC members based in Metro Manila and the provinces, Pedia Cardio Fellows from the Philippine Heart Center and Philippine General Hospital. The Pedia Cardio Fellows from PGH came prepared with a dance number! Past PSPC Presidents who graced the event were Drs. Willy Lopez, Egay Ortiz, Doris de Leon, Della Pelaez, Au Gamponia, Baby Leus, Lyn Lagamayo, and Cora Estevanez together with the present PSPC officers led by Dr. Ning Villanueva.
Other highlights of the night were the picture-takings, the exchanging of gifts, the inspirational talk of Doc Ina Bunyi, the piano-playing of Dr. Willy Lopez, the beautiful singing of Doc Marinella of “Pasko na, Sinta Ko”, the delicious food, and many more!
The event’s over-all coordinator was Doc Mayette Alarcon while Doc Dolly Victor helped gather prizes for the games.
